Benefit Gimme Brow
Over the past couple of years, brows have become a big deal. Whilst it may be acceptable to step out sans lipstick or liner, it seems unthinkable to leave your eyebrows in their natural state. However, our rushed schedule makes it impossible to brush and fill in our brows every morning. In an effort to find an all-in-one product, we turned to Benefit’s Gimme Brow – a reformulated version of their popular brow gel. Here is our review of the shade, '03'.
The product comes in a funky silver tube with pink lettering. The cool, faceted cap has an attached spoolie, which is tinier than most brushes. Due to its small size and densely packed bristles, it allows the product to go on smoothly, without any clumping.

On application, we noticed that the spoolie dispensed miniscule, tinted microfibers, which added instant volume. The consistency of the product felt more like that of a pomade, rather than a traditional gel. This factor also helps keep unruly hair in place. The best part however, is the ease with which you can build up the intensity. One coat provides a sheer, natural finish, whilst several are required for bold brows like Cara Delevingne. ‘03’ is a medium brown hue that will flatter most brunettes.

As far as the longevity goes, this tinted gel remained put for about 6 hours, with minimal fading. Since it claims to be water-resistant, we tested it out by washing our faces several times, only to be impressed with its staying power.
If fuller, tamed brows are your thing, this is the product to have! Easier to use than a pencil and quicker to deliver results, this metallic tube is a literally dream come true.
