Thus, when L’Oreal’s Smooth Intense Instant Smoothing Serum landed on our desks, we were overjoyed. Was this little bottle the solution to our frizzed out locks? Read on to find out.
Comprised of Argan Oil and Silk Protein, the serum comes packaged in a 100ml plastic bottle. The bottle has a sturdy flip cap which makes dispensing the serum easy. We love the fact that it’s light enough to carry around on our travels.

As per the instructions, we applied the serum to our freshly washed hair. The serum is transparent in colour and goes on weightlessly. Our mid-length hair required 5-6 drops, but those with shorter hair should apply less. Remember to only spread it through the ends of your hair, as it can cause your scalp to get oily.
After letting our hair air dry for a couple of hours, we found our hair to be smoother and softer. The level of frizz was significantly lesser (yes!) and the serum made our hair look a lot shinier. We were thrilled to see that unlike other serums, this product did not weigh our hair down or make it look greasy.
After 2 months of regular use, we can confidently state that this bottle is pure gold. Our hair is infinitely softer and glossier. Best of all, we’ve realised that we can cut down on our daily flat iron routine, as our tresses are less likely to frizz. All in all, we highly recommend that you buy this serum, no matter what your hair type is.
