Ever so often, a makeup product appears in the market that sends us into a tizzy. Take for instance Too Faced’s Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick. Is it a stain? Is it a gloss? Or is it going to be a goopy mess? Being the beauty detectives that we are, we decided to test out ‘Melted Berry’ to determine what exactly this product is.
If you are expecting a traditional lipstick bullet, think again! These lipsticks come in a squeezable tube with a chic gold cap. The body of each tube corresponds to shade of the lipstick. The slanted sponge applicator allows for precise and smooth application.

We were incredibly pleased to see that a single squeeze of the tube provided so much product. The lipstick glided on to our lips in a thin, even layer that dried within a minute. What really sets these lipsticks apart though, is their pigmentation. One swipe provides super intense, opaque and rich colour. ‘Melted Berry’ is a gorgeous fuchsia-berry shade with blue undertones. The lipstick has a faint fragrance to it and leaves a semi-glossy finish.
If we had to rate this lipstick on its longevity, we would give it a solid ten. ‘Melted Berry’ stayed on our lips for about six hours, with minimal fading or feathering. The lipstick wears well against water, but does transfer during a meal. After six hours, it leaves behind a beautiful pink stain that we truly can’t get enough of!

Long lasting, bold and weightless, this liquid lipstick has definitely carved itself a place in our hearts. Although the cute packaging looks tiny, each squeeze definitely packs a punch. We highly recommend that you rush out and buy as many shades as you can. See you at Sephora!
