What does chocolate, Grey’s Anatomy and nail polish have in common? The fact that we just can’t get enough of them! On our most recent trip to the makeup aisle, our eyes landed on OPI’s ‘Koala Bear-y’, and it was love at first sight.

Like all OPI lacquers, the nail paint comes in a glass bottle with a matte black top. The brush features as one of our favourites, as it is wide enough to cover up our nails in 2-3 strokes. The shade name is printed on a sticker at the bottom of the bottle.
Our first impression of the nail polish was that it was a bit thick. However, on application we found that it covered our nails evenly, without any streaks. ‘Koala Bear-y’ is a bright, berry pink that reminds us of strawberry margaritas. We recommend that you apply two coats, with a 2 minute break between each coat, for maximum impact.

On the longevity front, we love the fact that the nail paint stayed vibrant and glossy all week long. Despite our incessant typing, the lacquer stayed chip-free for 5 days. A top coat will increase the staying power of the polish.
