We love lipsticks that are packaged as pencils, and the Art Stick is no exception! This chunky, wooden pencil comes with a sturdy black cap and a special sharpener. The bottom of the pencil shows the exact shade of the lipstick.
Comprised with shea butter and emollients, the pencil glides smoothly onto lips, without any tugging. Although the finish is matte, it feels light and creamy. One coat of ‘Hot Pink’ gave an opaque, highly pigmented, bright pink colour. Unlike most matte lipsticks, this lipstick kept our lips moisturized and supple. Major plus point!

The Art Stick totally lived up to our expectations in terms of longevity. The colour stayed vibrant, without any fading or feathering, for a full six hours. After that, it faded into a pretty, soft pink stain. The pencil wears well against light snacks and sips of water (a girl has got to stay hydrated!), but will require touch ups if you wear it to dinner.
Playful, long lasting and super saturated, Bobbi Brown’s Art Stick is pure perfection. ‘Hot Pink’ has become our go-to shade this summer. Now, please excuse us, we need to go back and drool some more.
