Whenever our life gets too stressful to handle, we often envision ourselves lying on a sandy beach, sipping on an icy cold drink while the waves lap at our feet. Sounds blissful, right? Unfortunately with winter coming up, our days on the beach are limited. Which is why we decided to get the next best thing – a bright, summery nail polish! Here is our review of Essie’s ‘Peach Daiquiri’.
The lacquer comes in Essie’s trademark glass bottle with a white cap. The brush is the perfect size and has smooth, soft bristles. The shade name is mentioned on a sticker on top of the cap.
On the formula front, this polish is a dream come true. Not only does it go on like butter, without any streaking or dragging, but is also thin enough so that it can be layered easily. ‘Peach Daiquiri’ is a solid coral shade that leans towards the pinker side. Two coats give a pigmented, glossy finish that dries completely within 5 to 7 minutes.
We’ve been flaunting this gorgeous hue for a week now, and we are pleased to report that the colour has stayed true without any fading or loss of shine. If you and your laptop are attached at the hip, then you may notice some chipping at the tips of your nails, but the rounded brush helps cover those up easily.
Cheerful, sophisticated and long lasting, this mouth-watering shade is definitely one of our favourites. After all, a peek at this glossy hue is a quicker stress buster than a trip to the beach!
