Being beauty bloggers, we definitely love experimenting with various shades of lipstick. However when it comes to eye makeup, we usually stick to a neat cat eye. In an effort to break out of this mould, we got our hands on Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in ‘Forest’. Here is our review.
The shadow comes in a sleek, black tube with a cap that clicks perfectly into place. The twist-up pencil format makes the product easy to use and also prevents wastage. The exact shade can be spotted on a narrow band at the bottom of the tube.

If anything could make us veer away from liquid liners, it would be the formula of this shadow! The product went on smoothly, without any tugging or dragging. One swipe provides semi-opaque coverage, while two layers deliver maximum pigmentation. The domed tip makes it easy to cover your lids in one go. The shadow does set rather quickly, so you have to work fast to blend and layer. We recommend that you keep your eyes closed for about 30 seconds after application to prevent any smudging. ‘Forest’ is a mysterious, smoky emerald hue that leans towards the cooler side, and has a slightly frosted finish.
