If we had to dress up Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion, we would definitely add a leather jacket and studs. That’s because this primer is one badass product! We got our hands on the ‘Original’ shade, and couldn’t wait to review it for you.

The primer comes in a purple easy-to-squeeze tube, with a pointed nozzle. The primer went on easily and consistently. We recommend that you dot your eye with the product, and blend using your ring finger. ‘Original’ is a light beige, creamy shade that turns invisible on blending.

After letting the primer dry for about a minute, we drew on our regular cat eye. Our liner glided on to our lids like butter, and looked infinitely more intense. When we tried it out before applying eye shadow, we found that the colours looked more vibrant.

On the longevity front, we declare this primer a sure winner! Our liner lasted a full 12 hours (8 hours of work and 4 hours of dancing) without creasing, migrating or smudging. One of our writers even tested it while sleeping (an honest mistake), and found that her liner had not budged at all.
