Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow In ‘Jezebel’
If it were up to me, Pantone’s colour for 2018 would have been rose gold. Not only has the shade infiltrated every industry (high five to all those who have a rose gold iPhone!), but is also flattering on every complexion, be it cool-toned or warm. Thus, when I chanced upon Stila’s Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in ‘Jezebel’, I couldn’t resist picking up a tube. Here is my review.
Like its glittery counterpart, this shadow too comes in a clear, rectangular tube, albeit with a rose gold cap. The attached brush has dense, yet soft bristles, which allow the product to spread easily. The exact shade name is mentioned on a sticker beneath the tube.

Upon application, I found that the shadow had a thick, whipped consistency and gave off a cooling sensation. It went on smoothly and evenly on to our lids, with no patchiness. The product takes about 30 seconds to dry down completely, so you need to work fast to blend it. ‘Jezebel’ is a true rose gold, with micro-shimmer particles and a pearlescent sheen. Due to its rich pigmentation, you only need one coat to get opaque coverage.

Even though I’ve tried Stila’s liquid eye shadows before, I was still taken aback by how long this one lasted on me. Despite it being the midst of summer, this shadow stayed put for 8 hours, without creasing or flaking. The colour did fade a tiny bit as my lids are oily, but when I wore with a primer the next night, it did not budge at all!
Long lasting, creamy and pigmented, this gorgeous shadow has completely won me over. What about you?
