Review: Marc Jacobs Beauty’s Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer In ‘4 Glow’
Whilst the world may dress up on Halloween, I don’t have to do much but stay up the previous night. Why? Cause my dark circles often make me look just like a panda… and not in a cute way! Since mimicking my favourite animal isn’t acceptable on most days, I’m always on the hunt for a great concealer. Here is my review of Marc Jacobs Beauty’s Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer in ‘4 Glow’.
With its weighted glass pot and minimalistic packaging, this concealer definitely feels luxurious. The exact shade name is mentioned on a sticker beneath the jar. Unfortunately, this product does not come with any applicator so will have to rely on your fingers or buy a separate concealer brush. If you are planning on carrying this when you travel, I recommend that you pop it into a box or cover it up in bubble wrap.
As advertised, the concealer has a creamy, thick consistency that can be blended in seamlessly. The emollient formula worked well on my dry complexion, but will feel greasy on those with oily skin. Another point to note is that this product is not one for full coverage. Whilst it did cover up scars and redness fairly well, it was no match for my under eye circles. ‘4 Glow’ is a neutral hue with peach undertones that will suit those with medium complexions.
As far as the longevity of this concealer is concerned, I have absolutely no complaints! The product stayed put for a solid 8 hours of work, dancing and a walk home. However, it did settle into the fine lines and emphasized them. Also, be careful not to rub your eyes when you are wearing this product, as it will transfer on to your fingers.
Long lasting, smooth and opulent, this little pot is perfect if you have minor skin woes that you need to cover. For those of you like me, the search continues!
