Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz In ‘Dark Brown’
If you had told us a couple of years back that brows would be so important to us, we might have laughed and wondered what you were drinking. As strange as it may be, eyebrows have evolved to become the focal point of every look. From Cara Delevingne to Brooke Shields, actresses all over have been flaunting thick, bold brows… so naturally, we had to have them too! Here is our review of Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in ‘Dark Brown’.
The product comes in a slim, retractable format, which makes it easy to use. The mechanical pencil features a very fine tip which helps fill in brows evenly, whilst the dense spooley on the opposite end blends and diffuses the colour to give a natural finish.
On the formula front, this pencil definitely impressed us. The texture may feel stiff, but that only enhances the longevity of the product. We used the pencil to draw quick, short strokes in the direction of our real brows and then used the spooley to brush them into shape. As the name suggests, ‘Dark Brown’ is perfect for brunettes. This product is also fragrance-free, which gives it major brownie points in our books.
The results? Worthy of cult-favourite product! Our brows looked defined and filled-in, without looking artificial. The colour did not fade or smudge, despite us being out and about on a hot, humid day. Our only gripe is that the pencil contains too little product (0.003 oz), so you will need to re-purchase it soon.
With its ability to mimic our natural brows, this pencil has won a permanent place in our makeup bags (and hearts). The best part? It’s available in a range of 9 shades, from blonde to grey… thus making it possible for everyone to find their exact match!
