Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
Come summer or winter, the one thing I can always count on is my oily complexion. No matter how much the temperatures may fall, my face continues to stay greasy… right up till now. Over the past few weeks, the shine on my skin has given way to flakes and tightness. A trip to the dermatologist informed me that my skin is suffering from dehydration. To remedy the situation, I turned to Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. Here is my review.
The product comes packaged in a pastel yellow, square container. Unlike many moisturizers, which come in glass bottles, this one is made of a sturdy, travel-friendly material. The pump dispenser is hygienic to use, as you do not have to dip your fingers into a tub or pot.

As instructed, I applied this gel on to my freshly washed face. Rather than directly putting this product on to dry skin, I recommend that you massage it in to your damp skin. The thin consistency and lightweight texture allow the gel to spread smoothly across skin. Another plus point is that the product absorbs very quickly to leave a shine-free finish.
After using this moisturizer for 3 weeks, I can safely say that my skin has never felt better. Initially I was worried that using it could lead to more oil production or breakouts, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. My face feels soft and hydrated all day long, without feeling sticky or weighed down. The dry patches on my cheeks have also disappeared, along with the accompanying itchiness.
Weightless, oil-free and definitely different, this moisturizing gel lives up to its name. Try it out this winter if you have combination-to-oily skin. I promise, you won’t regret it!
