Batiste Dry Shampoo
As much as we adore the clean feeling of freshly washed locks, 20 minutes of extra sleep in the morning is too appealing to give up. Due to our hatred of alarm clocks and love for all things sleep, we decided to invest in a dry shampoo. After much research and aisle-shopping, we purchased Batiste’s Dry Shampoo. Here is our review.
The product comes in a light, aerosol can with a firm cap. Since we picked up the version with a floral fragrance, the bottle came printed with bright, pretty flowers. The directions are printed clearly on the back.
As per the instructions, we sprayed on the shampoo on to our dry roots. Be careful not to hold the bottle too close to your scalp, as this can leave a noticeable white residue. After letting the product settle in for a about a minute, we massaged it into our hair. To prevent the dreaded white trail, we also used a bristle brush to distribute the powder evenly. The scent is pleasant and flowery, without being overpowering.
If you are rushing out the door with minutes to spare (no judgements!), then this is the shampoo for you. Within 2 minutes of spraying, the shampoo had sopped up all the oil from our roots. Not only did it leave our hair feeling refreshed and light, but also amped up the volume at the roots. In case you aren’t convinced already, one of our editors actually forgot that she hadn’t washed her hair that day!
Invigorating, weightless and 100% effective, this bottle is our saviour! While we do not recommend that you use it every day (too much of any dry shampoo can lead to itchy scalps), this product will definitely help you out in a pinch.
