The product comes in a pencil format with a sturdy cap. However, the tip of the pencil wears down quickly so you will need to sharpen it often. We love the minimalistic black design and the shade band at the bottom of the pencil. The shade name is printed on the body of the product.

Although this pencil is matte, the texture completely surprised us. On application, we found that the product glided creamily across our lips, without any tugging. The colour goes on pretty evenly, with a minor amount of patchiness. ‘Famous’ is a dark burgundy shade with an ultra matte finish. One coat provides completely opaque coverage – which is a real rarity in the beauty industry.
As far as the longevity goes, this baby will not budge! We tested it out over lunch and two coffees, but the shade stayed rich and true, without any smudging or transfer. However, the product did settle in the fine lips of our lips and further emphasized them. The pencil also feels a tad drying after a few hours. We recommend prepping your pout with a lip balm prior to application.
